The essence and content of communication as social and cultural phenomenon

Abstract. The author considers communication as a subject of scientific knowledge in theoretical concepts and presents an overview of the relationship between generations through communicative features, which influence socialization, continuity and values of the younger generation. The author reveals special fea-tures and role of communication in the framework of inter-generational interactions.
