The use of modern information technologies in the agricultural sector

Abstract. The paper discusses the importance of informatization of agricultural sector. The author reveals the possibil-ity of providing reliable rapid comprehensive information on the status of internal and external environment of managed objects through the introduction of a software product. The advantages of using information technologies in agricultural sector are described on the example of the program complex “Coral” and software “GEO-Agro”, system “Agrar-Office”, which enable the transition to a higher level of economic efficiency of agricultural sector as a whole.
