Using the semantic network for students’ scientific research

Abstract. To attract students to scientific research is an important part of higher education system in Russia. Students’ scientific study group activities are described as highly actual and important for the academic purposes. There are different student’s scientific groups not only in Russia, but also abroad. The teacher is supposed to play an important part in students’ scientific research. In this article, the semantic network is represented as a pattern of knowledge presentation to explain how to make a scientific research. In the diagram, the stages of research are shown by peaks, and the relations between those stages are shown by arcs. To find the general decision, the students look for the network segment in order to find an answer to necessary questions.
