The paper presents an original design of the wind power turbine, which minimizes the impact on the environment and improves the economic security of alternative energy systems.

The paper considers the features of the development of alternative energy during the implementation of territorial programs of socio-economic development of the regions of Uzbekistan. The results of resource estimates, as well as the gross and technical potential of solar, wind and geothermal energy in Uzbekistan, are presented. The article assesses the feasibility of using renewable energy sources for electricity supply in the regions of Uzbekistan.
