The article focuses on the review of securitization definitions in the foreign and national economic literature. The author has reviewed the main terminology aspects of securitization, offered a definition classification by two main characteristics: first, what can be considered securitization, and second, in respect of this phenomena, focus on positive or negative aspects of the securitization process.
