The article considers ethnoeconomics of the region as a factor of increasing employment in the region. Special attention is paid to the functions of ethnoeconomic, which, on the one hand, performs the role of the fabric of the framework of the agrarian sector of the economy polyethnic region. On the other, it amortizes, softens dev-astating effects of the crisis-destructive phenomena in the economy of the region, provides jobs for laid off from other areas of economy, human resources, helps to relieve tension in the sphere of employment.
