The paper provides information about applying multimedia teaching classes throughout the process of foreign language teaching in university, which provide ability of using various teaching methods that were inaccessible in time of usual use of computers. The author also gives additional characteristics of some tools of multimedia teaching linguaphone class NETCLASS PRO and their abilities on the example of academic discipline “A History of German Language”.

The paper deals with the information about the principles of selection and organization of visual aids for teaching a foreign language. It describes the types and functions of visualization, as well as the effective use of visualization and its components at foreign language lessons in non linguistic university.
