The role of finite element analysis in teaching a course «Basics of vibration diagnostics of structures and machines»

Abstract. Vibrodiagnostika is a perspective direction, allowing to monitor the technical condition of structures in real-time to avoid catastrophic consequences. The appearance on the market of powerful finite element systems can be considered nonlinear dynamic processes occurring in the structure during its operation. The article is devoted to the application of the method in practical sessions of finite-element modeling of the object vi-brodiagnostica to determine the diagnostic sign for cracks or of structural failure.
