Management of innovative educational projects in modern university

Abstract. The paper discusses innovative projects as essential mechanisms for innovative development of Russian universities. An innovative educational project is characterized as a system of actions of educational institutions for creating unique educational products, services and results. The description of the project “Competence-surface-oriented training of professionals in higher education” is given and it is implemented within the framework of "Program of Strategic Development of Vyatka State University of Humanities in 2012-2016. The features of project management include innovative project, production commerce stages.
