The development and state support of agricultural cooperatives in foreign countries

Abstract. The cooperative movement began in Europe in the XVII-XVIII centuries, but despite it, the government in most developed countries, primarily European, used sales tax, legislative and administrative measures to curb it up to the 70-ies of the XIX century.
