Integrating Technology in Teacher Preparation

Abstract. Technology plays a large role for teaching and teacher preparation. Integrating technology and core subjects content enhances the learning environment by actively engaging stu-dents. This work includes a statement explaining why integrating technology is an im-portant component for education thus, educator preparation. The following concepts that we include in our teacher preparation program will be introduced and discussed: applications for hand-held devices, the flipped lesson approach and educational game design and development.
