Formation of the cultural environment in Stavropol-on-the Volga (end of XIX – beginning of XX century)

Abstract. The author describes the main aspects of the formation of the cultural space of Stavropol-on-Volga, changes in the provincial town appearance, development of its infrastructure, thereby improving the general cultural level of citizens, the formation of spiritual values.
