The paper deals with the main problems in the development of modern educational systems engineering education. Attention is drawn to the biosphere-the cosmological synthesis of engineering education. The necessity of the transition from one-dimensional and professional engineering education to globally-cultural is proved. The methods of reorientation toward fundamental integration of engineering and technical knowledge, constituting the content of academic disciplines are described. The authors offer graphical model of the teacher-researcher in the vocational education system.

The paper is devoted the problem of virtuality in engineering education in the widespread use of information technologies. The use of computer simulation in educational process allows speeding up the learning process and reducing the cost of education. However, the problem of virtuality of acquired knowledge appears since learning is not held on real physical objects, but on their computer models. The survey among students aims to show virtuality level of their knowledge. The authors offers specific system solutions of virtuality of acquired knowledge in learning process.

Studying complex multifactor processes in which the main target parameter is influenced with set of factors, the theory of planning of experiment is applied. Thus values of factors are fixed in both parties from nomi-nal value with the certain interval of a variation. We offer algorithm and the program of processing arrays of factors with any deviations from the nominal value, received during experiment. The original approaches developed earlier are put in a basis. The specified program can be used for optimization of physical, technical, economic and social processes.

The article is devoted to final degree papers for students of technical majors. The authors propose to change the standard approaches to the project activity during the period of certification. Modern technical facilities are complex ones in terms of the variety of physical processes that occur in them. In this regard, it is necessary to apply the system design methods and organization of work. The authors base on the use of thw systematic approach and methods of scientific and technical creativity.

The article is devoted the questions of improvement of the accuracy of statistical mathematical models, used to investigate the effectiveness of the educational process. The authors suggest changing standard approaches to information processing large datasets, using the method of experiment planning. This takes into account features of data sets characteristic of pedagogical processes. Using these proposals one can improve the accuracy of the model and the value processing, and hence the accuracy of machining.
