The article is devoted to one of the means of intellectual development of children of year 6–7. The individu-ally-differentiated creative tasks. These proposed tasks are differentiated from reproductive to research.

The article is devoted to the study of various approaches to the definition of concept «creative activity of personality». Researchers who explored this concept are arbitrarily divided into four groups. The author suggests her own definition of creative personal activity.
