The article deals with the problem of teenage maladjustment, its categories and types. The author examines the characteristics of maladjustment and analyses the manifestation of adolescents maladjustment for successful differentiation of educational work and the adolescents.

The article is devoted to the problem of teenagers' manifestation of maladjustment, its types and the specific symptoms, depending on the time of occurrence. The author considers the signs of situational or temporary exclusion and gives the description of its appearance in children's recreation centers.

The article deals with the system of educational work with dysadaptated teenagers. The system combines group and individual approaches and is based on the usage of "semantic" and "collateral" incentives. The purpose of the system is to turn external incentives into internal ones with high positive potential.
