The article reveals one of the most urgent problems of vocational education - the formation of cognitive interest to the teaching of mathematics in the classroom. The article describes the use of the author of various forms, methods, tools and techniques aimed at the formation of cognitive culture and education of students. Research of maintenance of metacompetences of the personality is presented in this article. Questions of definition of concept of metacompetences within graphic activity on the example of children of younger school age were considered. The analysis of an origin of concept of metacompetence and the review of domestic and foreign researches in this sphere is given. Metacompetences are defined how the competences which are on a joint of emotional resources and art creativity in the context of intersubject communications. According to age characteristics of children of younger school age research methods are proved. Characteristics of metacompetences of area of emotional perception of children, and also understanding and orientation of the child in the field of feelings and emotions have acted as a subject of empirical research. Reliable communication (correlation according to Pearson) between emotional intelligence and a scale "ability to choose", and also between a cognitive scale and a scale of emotional contents is found.
