The article discusses the main approaches and methods for studying the scientific heritage of K.G. Jung in the framework of historical and psychological research. The contribution of the scientist to the development of psychological science is described in detail. The necessity of developing a more detailed reconstruction of the life path and scientific creativity of the scientist is substantiated, vectors for further research are outlined.
