The paper deals with the need of creation of the comfortable humanitarian environment for a higher educa-tional institution. Its components are considered the essence of the humanitarian environment as the socio-historical phenomenon. The author describes the list of various actions allowing to use opportunities of both educational and informative process, and purposeful extracurricular educational work with students in the educational purposes.
