Innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities is an important part of my country's innovation-driven development strategy, and it is also an important topic in the current higher education reform. In the process of promoting the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, the Northeast region is faced with the problems of continuous decline in the rate of entrepreneurship, serious brain drain, lag in the adjustment of professional structure and outdated concept of entrepreneurship. By combining the external environment and internal characteristics of innovation and entrepreneurship culture in Northeast China, it deeply analyzes the current development dilemma of innovation and entrepreneurship in colleges and universities in Northeast China and the deep-seated reasons that affect innovation and entrepreneurship work in Northeast colleges and universities, so as to explore the problems of innovation and entrepreneurship in Northeast colleges and universities based on the regional back-ground. The solution strategy can turn the crisis into an opportunity and better meet the large demand for innovative talents for the social and economic development of the North-east region, the industrial transformation of the old industrial base, and the implementation of the strategic deployment of the revitalization of the Northeast.
Compared with the western developed countries, China's innovation and entrepreneurship education starts late and develops slowly, and the mode and management of the education are in the preliminary stage. By studying and comparing the innovation and entrepreneurship education environment, innovation and entrepreneurship education pro-cess, innovation and entrepreneurship education system, and innovation and entrepre-neurship education model in foreign universities, and by analyzing the practice cases of innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities in the United States, Japan, Germany, Britain, and India, we learn from their experience and inspiration in policy level, education level, management level, and system level, based on China's current develop-ment. This study will provide suggestions for educational reform that is more in line with their own development and will be of reference for further promoting the major develop-ment strategy of innovation drive and the completion of talent training plan in the new era.
