Harmonious development of preschool children is impossible without proper speech education. Speech is the most important indicator of their readiness to master the school curriculum. The article presents an analysis and generalization of theoretical information on the problem of developing the understanding of logical and grammatical structures in children of senior preschool age with General speech underdevelopment of level III. The authors use theoretical research methods (analysis, synthesis, generalization, modeling). The article reveals the main concepts of the problem under consideration, and offers a theoretical model of speech therapy for the development of understanding of logical and grammatical structures by children of senior preschool age with General speech underdevelopment.
