The article describes the existing approaches to assessing the level of mastery of methodological skills within the framework of the Unified State Examination in Physics, considers the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards for the formation of experimental skills, and the results of completing tasks of this type by graduates of schools in the Smolensk region.
