The article discusses theoretical foundations of museum communication, proposes the scheme of museum communication, and analyzes the exposition of the oldest museum of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The author comes to the conclusion that the exposition is the fundamental channel of museum communication in Yakutia, and its most effective methods are dioramas, bio-groups, various media technologies.
