This article examines the descriptive level of the novels of Kazakh writers O. Bokeev "Oz otyndy oshirme" and Yu. Gert "The Night of Predestinations". The descriptive level includes an analysis of the landscape, the surrounding environment. The landscape in the works contributes to the disclosure of the psychological state, the inner world of the characters.

This article includes the development of a lesson on the Science in the 2nd grade using tasks on functional literacy (reading literacy, natural science literacy and creative thinking). All materials are united by the theme: "Winter changes in nature". The tasks are worked for students of the 2nd grade, taking into account the age characteristics of children. The work is aimed at developing the individual's abilities to formulate, apply and interpret knowledge in a variety of contexts. The form of the lesson is a studying in small groups. The materials can be used by primary school teachers.
