The article discusses the importance of the game for elementary school children in English lessons and analyzes the goals of gaming technology. The classification and examples of games are given. All games are divided into language and communication games. Among language games, there are alphabetic, spelling, phonetic, lexical, and grammar games, and communicative games can be auditive, dialogical, and monologue.
