The article gives the concept of bilingualism. The points of view of scientists about the influence of bilingualism on the intellectual abilities of the child are presented in this article. The article also reveals the importance of speech as one of the most significant components of the level of readiness of a migrant child to study in a comprehensive school, and provides an analysis of the results of the experiment, which was conducted with children of younger preschool age, on revealing specific bugs in the speech of bilingual children.
