The paper focuses upon the analyses of flipped classroom model potential; determines advantages and disadvantages of the methodology; reveals the peculiarities of flipped learning in the non-linguistic higher educational establishments.
After the outbreak of the new coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) in December 2019, in order to protect the health and safety of all teachers and students, most teaching methods at colleges and universities across the country were switched from offline learning. to a number of online learning methods, mainly based on video calls. With traditional offline learning, the interaction between students and teachers is more direct, and the quality of learning can be guaranteed. However, due to the sudden outbreak of the epidemic, online learning has become the main method of learning, and its importance is obvious. This article explains the problems that exist in online learning and discusses ways to solve them.
