the article gives a brief analysis of the speech of the hero of the artwork on the example of linguistic characteristics of the character of A. S. Griboyedov's Comedy "Woe from wit". It is noted that the language of this Comedy and the speech of the characters is directly related to the understanding of the content, ideological and artistic originality of the literary work and reveals the inner world of the characters, serves as their characteristic.

The research of the speech portrait of the politician not only reveals the individual characteristics of the leader, but also allows us to understand their influence on political processes and public perception.
