In the present article deals with the topical issue of influence of the central bank refinancing rate on inflation in the country. The author of an empirical formula depending on the refinancing rate of inflation in Russia, which allows to predict the level of inflation. The possibility of a change in control of inflation rate of refinancing, as well as to predict the possibility of economic crises.
