The author focuses on the using the literary and economic approach to the competitive strategy analysis. This approach is based on the study of the competitive strategies, used by heroes, created by writers in their literary works. It means that the competitive actions of literary heroes have been explicated through the conceptions, which are used in teaching economic disciplines.

This articledeals with the educational technology “Parliamentary debate”. The analysis of the basic formats, e.g. “Classical debate”, "Express debate", “Modified debate” that found wide application on the seminars in students groups, allows to single out a format “Scientific debate” that topical for a holding of student's scientific conference. In the article are described the rules and the conditions of conference, the features of refereeing, the recommendations to students
