The paper presents some aspects of the introduction of modern fabrics for curtains resistant to fire on the market of interior textiles and household social-cultural destination.

The paper deals with actual information on the range and conjuncture of the market the curtain fabrics, useful to the enterprises of the sphere of small and medium business of windows textiles and design. Geographical and price segmentation of manufacturing firms of interior textiles is executed, their innovative potential is con-sidered.

The author describes some problems of introduction of innovative educational technologies while training students of engineering majors in conditions of reforming of system of the higher education and competitive situation in the market of educational services.
