The problems of forming of teaching motivation of students in Omsk Water Transport Institute (branch) FBEI HPE “NSWTA” are analyzed and the essence and requirements, motives and aim of the study are shown with the help of questionnaire of first–fourth-year students of different specialities. Different approaches for the forming of steady motives, interests and stimulates of the students are studied. Knowledge requirements, motives and aims inducing the student to learning and stimulating his activity on the definite level is defined.

The article considers the questions connected with the problem of intensification of research activity preschoolers. This is facilitated by the use of different types of games. Journey-game is one way of living space expansion children. Game projects, training games, games-simulation games, competitions and games theatricalization help them to fulfil their needs researcher, and educator successfully solve the problems of environmental education.
The article highlighted the need for the modernization of vocational education to improve the quality of professional training of competitive personnel with a high level of professional competence and are able to be creative in addressing the urgent and pressing problems in the sphere of professional activity. The author points out that this is impossible without activating cognitive interest of students through the use of creative thinking techniques in the classroom for discipline «Mathematics».

In connection with the emergence of new priorities in education, from elementary school students need not only to be educated intellectually, but also be able to think creatively, independently analyze and solve problem situations, to act flexibly in accordance with the ever-changing world. One solution to this problem is the use of modern educational technologies. This article discusses the importance of and the need for problem-based learning technologies in the educational process, as well as provides results of the work on activation of informative activity of younger schoolboys at russian lessons.
In the work the authors consider the value of patriotism as a factor in the unity of personal, collective and public interests, which fully manifests itself in the most complex and ambiguous periods of society, when real threats to its existence arise. The authors emphasize the understanding of patriotism as the highest value, meaningful under any circumstances and at any time, which can direct a person, society and state to overcome any difficulties and trials.The authors emphasize that the main components (personality, state, society) are very closely interrelated and contribute to both their personal needs and social development through their activities. The article describes the modern Russian society, where the problem of identifying and defining the modern symbolism of patriotism is becoming acute, and the problem of analyzing the modern formation of patriotic symbols is becoming more acute: what events in this context are included in the symbolization, on what grounds, what exactly is selected as content. The solution to this problem needs to be accelerated, since it is directly related to the level of development of the resource of patriotism and the possibilities of solving such problems for the development of our society, which can only be managed on the basis of patriotic activation of the population.
