The article presents problems and ways to solve them in the interaction of primary school teachers and parents of students, the main attention is drawn to the fact that the adaptation of first-graders to the school depends on the effectiveness of this interaction, on the use of specific forms of work with parents, describes the need and the possibility of organizing interaction with fathers Students.
In the article the results of diagnostics on adaptation and motivation of pupils of the first classes are presented. Diagnostics were carried out at the beginning of the year and at the end of the year. A comparative analysis was carried out for two diagnostics to trace the dynamics of the data obtained. Motivation and adaptation play a big role in the schooling of children without them, the child will be very difficult to study at school.
The article presents the problem of adaptation of hyperactive children in primary school and the ways of solving it through physical culture, especially approaches to children with hyperactivity in teaching.

The article describes the basic form of interaction between an elementary school and a family - a parent meeting. This form meets the condition of ensuring the continuity of preschool and primary general education in the aspect of adapting a first-grader to school. The example of this parental meeting will help teachers to build relationships with their parents in this difficult transition period of the development of the child's personality.
