The article considers with the problem of using modern educational technologies, namely case-technology, in the process of teaching a discipline the "Basics of life safety". Here the concepts are considered as "technology", "educational technology", "pedagogical technology", "case technology", and the didactic principles of the case method are revealed. The purpose of the research is a detection of possibility of application «case technology» as a means of forming of practical skills in the process of teaching a discipline the "Basics of life safety" at institutions of secondary vocational education. A pedagogical experiment conducted on the basis of the College of the Vyatka State University showed that the level of formation of practical skills in students of the experimental group was rather higher than in students from the control group. In the process of studying the "Basics of life safety", by students formed such practical skills as the ability to anticipate the occurrence of dangerous and emergency situations on their characteristic grounds, and also to use various information sources and the ability to apply the received knowledge in the field of safety in practice, to design models of personal safe behavior in everyday life and in various dangerous and emergency situations.
The article discusses some types of activity methods used in teaching cadets engineering and computer graphics.
This article is a continuation of the author's research on the application of the case method in teaching at a university as an effective methodology for professionally oriented learning. The article provides 2 examples of marketing cases carried out by students in mini-groups. Such working tools for solving collective case solutions as: Design Sprint, Product Evolution Canvas, prototyping, developing the design thinking of students when solving professional issues, in particular, validating startup ideas, are proposed.
In this article, the features of using research cases of pedagogical conditions that contribute to the development of students' educational motivation. The main types of case studies are described and given the literature review, where the authors use in their research the case method. The article provides arguments in favour of the case-study as a qualitative empirical research method. The article also describes in detail which kind of pedagogical conditions positively affect students' educational motivation.
The experience of the BRIDGE cross-border cooperation project clearly shows that case technology is easily integrated into international educational projects. An example of the BRIDGE project is a more advanced level in solving business cases, since not only economic problems are solved, but also soft skills and intercultural communication of students are developed. The case method is especially successful if the project participants actively use such modern tools as storytelling, digital marketing, video materials, as well as mobile applications for group interaction: MS Teams, Slack, Trello, Wunderlist, etc.
