Exit trading enterprise to a new regional market is a common market strategy, which is used by both large and relatively small trading enterprises. However, a poorly studied region is fraught with danger of becom-ing a problem for the company. Typically, the problem arises not only from an underestimation of the com-petitive environment, but also with a lack of understanding of other consumer preferences in a new region. Therefore, the entrance to the new region must be preceded by a marketing research and market analysis. The paper presents the research methods of the regional market of consumers choosing the optimal loca-tion and analysis of the competitive environment in point of sales. These methods are included in the total output of the enterprise technology to a new regional market.
