In the article the game as the basic activities of children, and the importance of didactic games in teaching children of primary school age. Consider the impact of educational games on the cognitive activity of pupils at lessons of mathematics. A didactic game is a type of training sessions that are organized in the form of educational games that implement a number of principles of active, game-based learning and characterized by the presence of rules, a fixed structure of gaming activities and the assessment system, one of the methods of active learning.
Results of a pedagogical research on identification of level of informative activity of pupils and influence of didactic games of informative activity of school students are presented in this article.
the author of the article considers the concept of «visual skills» in the context of educational activities of preschoolers. During the study, the level of formation of visual skills of older preschoolers was revealed, methodological conditions were selected and according to them a set of games was developed.

The problem of forming knowledge about the norms of health-preserving behavior in the natural environment occupies a significant place in psychological and pedagogical research. Currently, not all children have enough information about how to behave in various situations in natural conditions. For successful learning, you can use didactic games developed in the Smart Notebook program. Through play activities, children form certain knowledge and acquire certain skills. The Smart Notebook program makes these games interactive, there is a process of active interaction of all participants in the educational process, with the help of colorful visibility and movement of objects, children better learn new information.
The article deals with the problem of activation of cognitive activity in children of primary school age in mathematics lessons. The subject, object, goals, tasks are identified and the research hypothesis is constructed. The theoretical aspects are studied and analyzed. The article also describes the results of identifying and developing the level of cognitive activity of younger schoolchildren in mathematics lessons when using didactic games.
