The Olympic Games give a powerful impetus to the development of sports and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle for citizens in the country where the Olympic Games are held, contribute to the development of international cooperation, the strengthening of peace and mutual understanding between peoples and countries. The study of the experience of the Olympic Games allows us to identify ways to obtain the maximum positive socio-economic effect from each stage of the Olympic business cycle and the Olympic Games as a whole for the economy of the host country, and also to use this experience in the future. The article provides information and the appearance of the first Olympic Games, a comparison of the costs of holding the Winter Olympic Games in different cities and in different years, as well as an assessment of the economic effect of this sporting event.
The article deals with issues related to the essence of the concept of potential, its types and specifics. Special attention is paid to a detailed analysis of the potential resources and opportunities of the Smolensk region, its position relative to other regions, and the directions of socio-economic development.
Where there is economics, there arises historical thinking and science. The role of fiction is considered, therefore, in close connection with teaching economics and history. Fiction and its authors reflected the history of economies of such countries as the USA, England, France and Russia. The article poses some problems and provides a number of examples of using fiction in teaching economics and history. It contains the list of works of native and foreign authors to be used in educational process. Teaching literature provides unconventional process stimulating mental activity of students against the background of information revolution and forms the sphere of competences of future professionals.
This scientific work is devoted to the analysis of the impact of external migration processes on the Russian economy. The paper examines the impact of migration on the main economic indicators of the country, such as gross domestic product (GDP), labor market, and social sphere. Particular attention is paid to studying the positive and negative aspects of migration flows for the Russian economy, as well as identifying possible strate-gies and measures aimed at optimizing the impact of migration processes on the econom-ic development of the country. The problem of exporting domestic capital abroad is raised.
The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the language of economics, which currently plays a major role in regulating business processes in various fields of activity. A person responsible for the economic development of our state, for the well-being of its population, must possess the following standards of professional behavior and speech culture. The object of the study will be the professional field of activity of an economist, and the inclusion will be the features of the special language of economic thought and its embodiment in the speech form of the specialization of this field.
