The article deals with the possibility of using the potential of the educational environment for the formation of foreign language communicative competence in teaching a foreign language. We have proposed a definition of the concept of "cultural-language environment", defined its main components and stages of creation. The experience of creating such an environment in a general education organization within the framework of project activities is also analyzed.
The article discusses the components of a foreign language communicative competence and briefly describes the ways of their development. Foreign language competence is divided into linguistic, sociolinguistic and pragmatic competencies. Learning a foreign language is not thorough enough if you miss at least one of them because each of the above-mentioned competencies has its own functions covering the most important branches of linguistics. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to all components of a foreign language communicative competences in the learning process .
Today there is a problem of a shortage of teachers of English and computer science, especially in remote, small educational institutions. In this regard, the issue of training teachers with sufficient foreign language communicative competence becomes relevant. This problem made it possible to develop and implement a bachelor's program with two training profiles (foreign language (English) and computer science) using CLIL-technology.
This article provides a brief overview of the information and education opportunities of Internet resources, which, according to the author, could contribute to the creation of favorable conditions for the formation and development of students' ability to professionally-oriented listening to foreign language speech. The potential of authentic materials of the Internet environment for teaching listening in conjunction with other types of speech activity in the process of classroom and extracurricular work is analyzed.
The article indicates the expediency of improving speaking skills with the use of lexical games at the lessons of a foreign language at school. The authors of the article consider in detail the concepts of monological and dialogical speech, identify the main conditions for conducting lexical games at the lessons of a foreign language. The article describes in detail the personal experience of the authors in the application of this technology in English lessons in elementary school on the basis of the 3rd grade.
