The article discusses the ways of forming abilities of intercultural communication in the light of modern re-quirements for teaching of foreign languages in non-linguistic universities
The article deals with the development of intercultural competence of undergraduate students in the process of teaching business communication in a foreign language on the basis of blended learning technology. The article describes the models of blended learning and defines the didactic possibilities of these models in the process of teaching business communication in a foreign language.
The article is devoted to the issues of cross-cultural competence, and the readiness of students to engage in a dialogue of cultures. The author considers draws conclusions about the level of tolerance and possession of communicative competence of middle school based on the research.
The author addresses herself to the topic of modern requirements of teaching foreign students intercultural competence within the RFL program. The author argues about choosing of national and cultural specific materials for the students. An opinion is given on including studied and student specific educational resources into RFL program, an idea of creating of bicultural RFL textbooks is suggested.
