The article deals with paragraphemic linguistic means functioning in a modern media communication based at the material of Russian and English languages examplified with the on-line versions of such papers as The Guardian, The New Yorker, etc. The aim of the analysis is the study of a functional potential of paralinguistic means of media discourse as the most extensive and powerful forms of modern communication, actualizing a creative playing modus. The research methods are based on the use of linguistic stylistic analysis, functional communicative analysis, methods of introspection, synthesis and comparison. Innovative research results of this study can be assumed as follows: modern web-based communication in the form of media discourse is characterized by a wide use of paragraphemic language means such as: syngraphemics, supragraphemics and topographemics, the functional potentials of which reflect the media discourse property of creativity, based on the mechanism of information content visualization.
The article discusses the discursive aspect of working with texts on socio-political topics. The author points out that texts related to a special type of news discourse imply the need to solve the problem of their perception, understanding and interpretation by foreign military personnel. The article indicates the importance of the fact that working with texts with special discursive characteristics involves the development of teaching materials demonstrating various methods of working with texts of a media discourse, which is both a specific type of speech-cognitive activity, characteristic only for the media information field, and any kind discourse realized in the field of mass communication. The article provides practical recommendations on the use of media text of the socio-political genre.
The article is devoted to the study of the communicative and pragmatic relevance of Kazakh-language inclusions in the Russian-language press and news Internet resources of Kazakhstan. The increase in inclusions and realities distinguish the media discourse of Kazakhstan, which gives it a special specificity. An analysis of the causes and conditions for the intentional use of inclusions indicates a conscious process of transition to another language with a certain illocutionary level. Interspersing, including cultural information, a system of symbols, require a certain knowledge of the cultural background, partly the Kazakh language for a full understanding of the texts.
The article is devoted to the analysis of precedent units of New Testament origin as components of the Russianlanguage media discourse. On the example of the precedent anthroponyms Judas and Thomas the Unbeliever, the features of the linguistic implementation of the precedent anthroponyms with the source sphere "Bible" in the current media space are established.
The article is devoted to the study of verbal extremism on the Internet in the aspect of the general conflictogenicity of media discourse. The authors pay attention to the distinction between the concepts of everyday and social hostility, considering them from the point of view of the semantics and pragmatics of speech units that form a text with signs of verbal extremism.
