In the article, phraseology is considered as a means of verbal and cultural development of the preschooler and junior schoolchild personality, directions and methods of work on phraseological units in kindergarten and primary school are described, conditions that ensure continuity in the teaching of the Russian language phraseology in children of senior preschool and primary school age are disclosed.

The article is devoted to the translation of phraseological units, which represent one of the most important layers of the vocabulary faced by a person who studies English as a foreign language. The authors of the article aim to identify the main problems associated with the translation of these lexical units into Russian, and the ways to overcome them. On the basis of the analysis, the main types of phraseological units, their origin sources and peculiarities of these lexical units translation are distinguished.
The article compares the phraseological units that designate the appearance of a person in Russian, Yakut and English also considered their semantics and pragmatics, features of the language identity of the bearer of Russian, Yakut, English.
On the material of phraseological units, the features of the concepts FIRE and WATER. Based on the analysis of these units, the attitude to FIRE and WATER revealed in the minds Russians and Yakuts
The article examines the peculiarities of teaching Russian phraseology of Chinese students. It is emphasized that the teaching of the phraseology of the Russian language is impossible without systematic planned work. The scientific novelty of the research is the formulation and solution of an important issue of the theory of methodology: the creation of an effective system when working with phraseological units at different stages of teaching the Russian language.
