The professional standard of the head of an educational organization sets high requirements for the professional development of a teacher. The article analyzes the main approaches to the professional development of a teacher in the conditions of its implementation. The author concludes that the professional growth of a teacher is associated with the realization of his personal and professional potential by changes in value-semantic formations, motivation, creative self-realization in the profession, success in learning, the need for personal self-development.
The article reveals the cultural, historical and pedagogical reasons for the emergence of a new form of teacher training in female gymnasiums in the period under study – an additional peda-gogical class; the structure, content, forms, methods of training are analyzed. The importance of pedagogical classes for the social status of girls, the assertion of a position independent of men in society is shown. The possibility of using the valuable experience of these classes in the activities of modern specialized pedagogical classes is shown.
The creation and use of a personal website indicates that a teacher works in a modern information space, uses information and communication technologies that help him find relevant information and share it with colleagues, disseminate his pedagogical experience, work with parents and students at a modern level.
The article shows the need for constant development and pedagogical skills of a teacher, reveals the conditions of his successful professional activity. The role of modern art therapy techniques in the development of the personality of a modern teacher is revealed. Using the example of specific exercises, the authors show the specifics of the development of mental cognitive processes.
