The question of choosing priority areas for the development of small business is currently central to all regions of Russia. This is due to the fact that small enterprises play an important role in ensuring the development of the Russian economy. State and regional authorities take measures to assist small and medium enterprises annually. This article analyzes the state support of small business on the example of the Republic of Karelia.
