The article is devoted to the consideration of mythological images in the work of C.S. Lewis «The Chronicles of Narnia». The author of the article makes a comparative analysis of the mythological images found in the cycle with the images of ancient mythology. The author's observations show the connection of the heroes of the story with the creatures of ancient myths. The presence of Christian principles in the structure of the novel is also noted.
The article presents the phytodominants of V.A. Soloukhin, their frequency, functions and meaning in lyrics are analyzed. The relevance of this study is due to the fact that phytodominants in the poetic texts of V.A. Soloukhin were not chosen as the subject of linguistic research. These lexemes are key in building the image of a small homeland in the author's creative laboratory. The purpose of the article is to identify the specifics of Soloukhin's phytodominants as an important component of the writer's linguistic picture of the world. It is noted that the formation of the author as a folk poet occurs through self-awareness in the context of Russian culture, originating in the mists of time.
Through the analysis of the symbols and their role in Ivan Bunin's 'Clean Monday' we try to substantiate their role in the work, to convey the writer's message and the idea of the work. The main purpose of the article is to show Bunin's «Clean Monday» as a complete and multifaceted work, highlighting all the meanings that are accessible to the reader through an analysis of the symbols used.
The article reveals the understanding of the archetype of the child in the work of Russian symbolists. On the example of the poems of F. Sologub, A. Blok. The polarity of the archetype of the child is considered from the point of view of good and evil.
