The article describes the phenomenon of digital dependency and screen addiction among Yakut teenagers caused by the innovative development of the world. Gives the chronology of appearance of the screen and experts’ predictions about future of the screen. Addresses the theory of Three Worlds by K. Popper as it would logically apply to the problem of today’s teenagers being stuck to the screen. Shows the results of the opinion poll carried out among Yakut teenagers which prove that the problem of screen addiction exists.
