. The article examines the phenomenon of asocial lifestyle as a social occurrence, identifying its main forms, causes, and consequences. Special attention is given to the question of whether such a lifestyle is a conscious personal choice or the result of external circumstances. A survey was conducted to reveal public perception and the main stereotypes associated with asocial behavior.
