The article explores the possibilities of applying and implementing modern AR/VR technologies in the excursion activities of the Republic of Sakha. The importance of virtual tours for promoting the region's tourism potential is emphasized. It considers the role of virtual tourism in educational and awareness-raising projects, its impact on the formation of interest in cultural heritage, as well as the prospects for using these technologies in museums, travel agencies and information centers.
