In this article the author examines the phenomenon of the settlement of foxes in London. The historical aspect is analyzed, and conclusions are drawn about further trends in the development of this phenomenon and its impact on the culture of the city. Biological, psychological, and behavioral changes affecting foxes due to their relocation from the wild to the urban environment are determined. The English mentality is being investigated as a factor contributing to the surge in population of foxes.
