This work aims to check if mnemonics can be effective in teaching and learning English in primary school. It means making own grammar rule explanation using some of mnemonic techniques and researching if students have interest in it and if they can successfully assimilate this new way of learning. Mnemonics is the memorization process that includes different methods and ways of remembering with the help of visual associations, phonetic images and strong emotions. If a person masters a mnemonic skill, he or she can remember easier, quicker and better. It is a good skill that affords to be effective in the contemporary word circumstances when people get a big amount of information and have to memorize it and keep it in mind. That concerns also learning foreign languages skill when people should learn new grammar structures and the foreign vocabulary to achieve success.
