The article deals with the research of traditional archery as a tool for strengthening the national identity of the Sakha people. The article investigates the historical and cultural aspects of the use of bows and arrows, their symbolic meaning, as well as their role in fostering concentration, patience and respect for the traditions of their ancestors. Since 2016 Manchaary competitions and master classes are actively held in the Republic of Sakha and since 2017 traditional shooting has been included in the program of national sports events "Manchaary Games". The methods of literature analysis, interviews with coaches, and youth questionnaires were used in the article. The results show a fairly high level of cultural significance of shooting and the interest of the general population in mastering the skills. The findings confirm that traditional shooting preserves cultural heritage and forms national identity.

The article examines the history of formation and evolution of the State National Film Company "Sakhafilm" as a key institution of Yakut cinematography. The study is relevant as there aren't any comprehensive works devoted to the film company in its historiography. The aim of the work is to identify the stages of organizational development of "Sakhafilm", analyze its production strategies transformation and define its role in the national film industry of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). As a result of the study, three stages in the history of "Sakhafilm" are identified: formation (1992–2000), genre diversification (2000–2013), and transformation (2013 – present). It is concluded that "Sakhafilm" progressed from being the only film producer to a multifunctional center providing infrastructure, training and integration of regional cinema into the Russian and international context.
