This article examines the features of the development of the public administration system of the Russian Federation in modern conditions. The purpose of the study is to examine the existing features and prospects for further reform of public administration in the Russian Federation. The research was based on the public administration quality index, which showed that the quality index of public administration in the Russian Federation showed a predominantly negative trend. Indicators reflecting citizens' ability to influence government and political stability have noticeably decreased. After a short-term increase, the effectiveness of the government also decreased, along with other analyzed indicators. The study shows that an integrated approach to public administration reform, including the active involvement of citizens and the digitalization of processes, can create a more efficient and modern system that contributes to the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation.
